As with previous projects, Suter is interested in the visual dialogue that emerges when images are placed in new contexts, and here she focuses on clouds and cloud-suggesting forms. Drawing from natural history reference books, encyclopaedias and a vast personal library of flea market finds, Suter finds a fascinating combination of "non-art" images that she intuitively brings together. The photographs resonate with each other in complex new ways, forming new synapses of meaning.
